Andrew, Saw this bird, two together, at TaiPoKau while shooting the Sun bird this noon at around 12:30pm. They are walking on the road but willing to post for me to make many shots, last more than 2-3 minutes.

Tai Po Kau They are unlikely to be appeared at this habitat. Could they be Olive-backed pipit?

I just start bird watching, no knowledge or experience. Double check with my picture, they are very similar. One big difference is the leg is pink color. Can this help ? Do not know how to post picture here as I do not have public album

those pitpit near Ivory flower tree and jumping around AFCD office in Taipokau are always Olive-backed Pipit, as what bond said due to their habitat Buff Bellied Pipit seldom to appear in mountain. attached a Olive-backed pipit photo from Taipokau AFCD office :
