Hi Koel, Can't see your 2 photos. Maybe there is something wrong with the link. I couldn't see any sparrows at all in Central London last week. The RSPB web site mentioned that the population of sparrows and Common Starlings drop rapidly. I had the same freezing experience when I took pics of Robin and Great Tit in London last week. My fingers were so numb that I could not press the button to reduce the power of fill in flash as they were too close. Bernard.

Hi Koel_ko, http://us.f1.yahoofs.com/users/a5e9dc4a/bc/__hr_Great+Bittern+2.jpg?bcln 4R.AWw.nooZQ Above is the link you provided in your message. It does not look like a proper URL and cannot display your stunning photos. Fortunately, I still remember the link of your Yahoo Photo Album(http://hk.photos.yahoo.com/thekoelfantasy) and found out the bittern photos from it. I think the correct link of the web page containing the photo and the direct link of the photo file should be as below(can any IT man correct me if I am wrong!): http://hk.photos.yahoo.com/bc/thekoelfantasy/vwp?.dir=/&.dnm=Great+B ittern+2.jpg&.src=ph&.done=http%3a//hk.photos.yahoo.com/bc/thekoelfantasy/vwp%3f.dir=/%26.dnm=Great%2bBittern.jpg%26.src=ph http://us.f1.yahoofs.com/users/a5e9dc4a/bc/Great+Bittern+2.jpg?bcTv8R.AP _sYXKXI ** However, it is really difficult for me to download the photo from your Yahoo Photo Album and the photos displayed in the album may be a little bit small. Would you mind to store your photo in your geocities site as before instead of the Yahoo Photo Album (it definely could not be accessed by the BBS). Or you can try visiting the websites used by Marcus(http://www.picturetrail.com), kkhui, man or hendrix to find out any free website for storage of photos. If anyone know any free website for storing photo other than geocities, please kindly advise! **Geocities always rejects the access to the photo through direct link. This direct link was rejected by Geocities after 6 hours from my first access using it.

| Hi Forrest, Just my observation, since you will, in most cases, transfer posted images to the HKBWS web server for a more permanent display/record, would you not consider allowing storage space for members posting their shots directly on the forum. It may relief some of your works as a moderator too ... You can always limit the posting frequency for each member, for example once every two days, if necessary just to throttle the memory usage so to speak. Dear Forrest, Thank you for the suggestion. I will seek better storage space from the link you have provided. Sorry for the trouble caused, and I admire your perseverence in dealing with so many photos from our enthusiastic photographers and birders. By the way, the Bitterns were observed from the Bittern Watchpoint, Lea Valley in North London. Please be aware of traffic congestion when getting there by public transport or private cars.
