According to the book "Birds of China" this is a globally vulnerable species and is much rarer than Red Headed Trogan.
Would like to thank Dr. Cheung Ho Fai for searching around and finally saw this species. I failed to take pictures of the female. Indeed many other birders took better pictures and show the features more clearly. Anyway I am still quite satisfied with it.
