Mikado + Swinhoe Pheasant (Taiwan) 黑長尾雉 (帝雉) 和 藍腹鷴

Date: 24 April 2006
Location: Yu Shan Tataka, Jia Yi (玉山塔塔加 (嘉義))
Equipment: Swarovski telescope + Canon PowerShot S80 digital camera
A female Mikado Pheasant was found near the entrance of the Yu Shan National Park (玉山國家公園). At around 8 km below the mountain, a male Swinhoe Pheasant was also observed feeding on the road.
Here is the Swinhoe Pheasant from a friend of mine. The same species was also observed at the mountain area near He Huan Shan on 23 April 2006.
