Dear Sir, I am a visiting birder from Malaysia and apologise for not familiar with the precise location in number or special name. I like to report on sighting of A21 at a pond between gate 107 and the 'small rocky hill with a toilet'. Seen among 10+ other BFSP. It was photographed preening with another BFSP. Date Time: 05 Jan 2004 1pm Weather: Clear and Sunny. Got a digital photo just enough to see the color ring. Will send to you individually if you like have a look. Also another BFSP with ring but only showed green rings at one side. Regards, Tun-Pin ONG Kuala Lumpur

Dear all, I surveyed the breeding sites of South Korea in May and June. A26 was found from Sokdo island, the breeding site of South Korea on 13-14th May, and 2nd June, 2004. A26 bred 3 eggs and succeeded 2 chicks. A26 was also found from the same island with chicks on 11th June, last year. http://kwbs.or.kr/bbs/data/gallery/A26_2004.jpg

Message added: This is a the story about A26 happened in winter 2002-03. Message received from Mr Bob Thompson on 7 Dec 2004: "A26 is a very lucky bird as it was found sick in HK and taken to Kadoriee Farm and Botanic Garden (KFBG)- wildlife rescue centre, on recovering it was banded by Paul Leader and released at Mai Po. Congratulations to A26 and a special thanks to KFBG"

Dear all, This morning (27th October 2005 @ 11:15) on Pond 23 at Mai Po there was a banded BFS. Right leg: Red band above tibia with black writing and numbered K50. Left leg: Yellow-over-white-over-yellow above tibia. (Note correction made to left leg band colour code on 30 Oct 2005) Tung (HKBWS) informed me that the bird was ringed in South Korea on the nest and has notified KFEM. Dear Sir. I'm interesting in the record of K50. My Banding data of BFSs from Kuen-Dar Chiang(WBFT) shows that the band color of K50 is Yellow-White-Yellow, not match to your record. Do you have a photo of K50? It would be very useful to confirm the correctness of my banding data. Thanks.
