The following is a more complete result:   Taiwan: 585 Hong Kong: 179 Vietnam: 65 Macao: 46 Futian, Shenzhen: 24 Chongmingdao, Shanghai: 1 Yenchang, Jiangsu: 16 South Korea: 22 Japan: 128 Thailand: 3   Therefore, a total of 1069 Black-faced Spoonbills were counted in the 2003 census. This is the highest number of this species ever.
