The site locates at a remote island off the Liaoning coast. Observation was made in summer 1999, but no signals of feeding occur there. Prof. Zhou Haixiang of the Ecological Environment Research Centre of Shenyang Ligong University has conducted a three-year survey with funding supported by WWF China programme.
