馬頭圍道－夜覓食之家燕

是晚接近八時，於馬頭圍道166號近一傢俬店的行人道上，見家燕於對街（約45號）的7-11店簷下徘徊，並穿梭於大道上空。
家燕曾斜斜的飛越大道抵對街，那簷前有一排光亮射燈的傢俬店前飛繞。射燈強光 下，正有三數飛蟲舞動。家燕復又「過馬路」返7-11店簷下。有時會停棲店簷樓上 的晒衣繩上。
家燕「過馬路」時有以下驚險情景：
每有雙層巴士夾道雙行駛過，家燕恰在其上空 尺許掠過 －－ 這一對比下，只覺雙層巴士似「龐然怪獸」，其上空驚險掠過的家燕則「弱蚊小小 」的。 
繁華鬧市，稍仰首，不意在夜空下看見家燕穿梭旺道上，展現出與城市生 活契合的生態。空中滑過的靈動－－天地頓闊，忘了在城中...

Hi Etta,
I saw a Barn Swallow being sucked into the bottom of a double deck by the strong turbalence created by the fast moving bus on Lai Chi Kok Road. The swallow finally save, but my heart was nearly jump out at that time.

Hope such scaring incident never happen again...
希望類似的驚心事件，不再發生...
This reminded me another unforgettable bird accident that upset me:
One day when I walked by the Kwun Tong-Shing Yip Street, I saw some blood-dyed white feathers, spread widely on the roadside. Then I saw a 'flatten' white dove carcass stuck on the busy street. Feathers swirled and spread once those vehicles drove by...
I was shocked and sad, then sent prayers for the peace of the poor bird instantly and on the coming days...
