Wenwei Bao reported that ornithologists considered the cause of bird flu lied in migrating birds, which are now referred to as “virus stores”. The three migration routes in China are called “routes of death”.
流動的「病毒庫」：「遷徙的鳥」遺禍人類

法國著名國際電影人雅克．貝漢幾年前曾憑藉著一部美輪美奐的紀錄片《遷徙的 鳥》而獲得無數電影殊榮，然而時過境遷，2005這一年，精靈轉眼成瘟神。伴隨著 禽流感疫情在全球境內的爆發，鳥類學家認為，導致此疫的罪魁禍首正是那些遷徙 中的候鳥。浪漫不再，恐懼襲來。現如今已被稱為「病毒庫」的候鳥，在全球共有 八條主要遷徙路線，而中國被其中三條路線所包圍，再加之中國大陸本身亦另有三 條內線「接應」，地理位置相當危險。

More alarmist nonsense from the media.
And I'm sure the ornithologists referred to realise that the real reservoir of trouble is poultry, not wild birds.

It is this kind of reports, with overly "emotional" adjectives and descriptions, that fuel mass panic on birds, and perhaps wildlife in general.
