Format/Setting of Photos in BBS 新聞組照片格式

Dear all BBS members,
So as to ensure the photos posted in the BBS could be displayed properly and faster, it is suggested to adopt the following settings for the photos to be posted:
為了確保張貼在BBS的相片能夠正確和快速地展現在電腦螢光幕上，建議大家採用 以下的相片設定:
Resolution: not more than 640x480
Size: not more than 50k
(* For complicate image, higher resolution (800x600) and more than 50k in size could be adopted but in any case, the photo should not exceed 100k in size.)
Please also adopt the following format for showing the photo details, bird name, location & date, etc. so as to facilitate the searching of photos & the reorganization of them in the future. It will also minimize the moderator’s workload in keeping the photos and their detail being displayed properly in the BBS!
如果相片及其內容能夠採用以下的格式，在日後的相片搜尋和分類重組便會更容易 ，而且更可減輕版主在維持相片及其內容能夠在BBS正確展示的工作量！
Subject: <English Name> <Chinese Name> <Message Title>
Message: XXXXXXXXX
location:<English> <Chinese>
date: dd/m/yyyy
Example:
Black-winged Stilt 黑翅長腳鷸
Lok Ma Chau 落馬洲

Please note that HKBWS will download and store all the photos posted in the BBS onto its file server and replace the original URL of the photos in the posted messages. Please be assured that your posted photo being downloaded and stored by us will be solely for displaying in the Photo Gallery, and they will not be used in any other purpose. In case the posted photo is exceeding 100k in size, it will be compressed into a smaller size for proper displaying in the BBS.
HKBWS會把所有張貼出來的照片下載及儲存，以及更改在messages內相片的原本URL 。 請放心，照片只會用於BBS中，絕對不會用於其它用途之上。

Dear BBS Members,
It is glad that more and more members sharing their stunning photos in the BBS.
Can all of you please adopt the format suggested in my previous message (bird name and location in both Chinese & English, date format: DD/M/YYYY eg. 13/1/2004, file size......) so as to reduce the workload of our administrator and moderators.

Please be reminded to show the date of the photo as 'dd/m/yyyy', e.g. 08/3/2004, instead of '8.3.04', '8 March 04', 'March 8 2004' or '8/3/04' .....

I have solved the problem of my photos not appearing in the body of the email with the help of Ray. The problems was that .jpg was not appearing in the link when I did it. I add .jpg now and it works. Strange.Neil.
