Dear LVMA Project Officer, For information, last month (May) I noticed at least 2 Red Fire Ant lairs on the earth walkway between fields. Although these were not inside the project managed area, it is highly likely they could be very soon. If you need any advice upon their treatment please feel free to contact me at Mai Po (2471 6306). Thanks Bena, We are aware of their presence in Long Valley many months ago. I understand that they are also in Mai Po reedbeds. At present I don't think they post any danger or threat to the place or people. HF Cheung
