Griffin,

The rounded tail, the black carpal patches and the dark wing-tips lead me to believe it was a Common Buzzard! :D ::)

:o Oh, I saw the "fingers" at the edge and thought it were a Black Kite! ::) I did not track it so I might have missed a great photo opportunity! :-/

Certainly appears to be a Common Buzzard. Black Kite is not the only raptor to show "fingers". As I've said in previous 'buzzard-related' posts, there are other buzzard species it could be, but there's no reason from this angle to believe it's anything other than a Common Buzzard.
