Morning,  around 9:30am
Blue walk, sharp U-turn

The features are as follows :
- greenish upperparts and bright yellow belly
- complete yellow eyering
- no wing-bars
- forehead greenish
- median crown-stripe in pale grey mix with some green  
- lateral crown-stripes in greyish black gradually narrows towards the bill, also shows some grey along the lower border
- little white on outertail feathers
- white under tail

Since we do not have much informations on the Golden Spectacled complex, please experience birders correct us if the above is wrong, & let us know more about this species, thanks very much.

What a wonderful finding and great pictures of this bird in the wild.

I know nothing about the Golden-spectacled Warbler complex. So I turned to books. There is description of this bird from Craig Robson's book on SE Asia birds where Bianci and Grey-hooded warblers are also illustrated. The Avifauna of Hong Kong also got one page for these birds.

A similar bird have been seen briefly in the bird wave on Blue Walk today .
~ no wing-bar ~ forehead greenish ~ pale grey and black crown-stripes

Mountain Tailorbird , Asian Paradise Flycatcher and Eastern Crowned Warbler have also been seen in the bird wave .
