Title: Re: A good start in Tai Lam Chung for 2003 Post by Little parrot on Jan 6th, 2003, 1:33pm You may start at Siu Lam Road, walk slowly up to the reservoir. Watch out for the Red-flanked blue tail and laughingthrushes on the road, wagtails, blackbirds, waterhan, kingfishers in the open channel in the left hand side. If you are lucky, you may also find raptors: crested goshawk, crested serpant eagle, buzzard and white-bellied sea eagle. After going up the staircase to the small dam, turn right, follow the path to the main dam. Pay attention to the small islands and listen! Crested kingfisher, Pied Kingfisher, jay may be there waiting for you. Cheers!! |
