香港公園的觀鳥園, 對初學觀鳥者來說, 是一個認雀的好地方, 在米埔看塘鵝, 只能用望遠鏡在鳥屋遠遠的望出后海灣觀看牠們, 今日在觀鳥園外那個水池, 能近距離地看著牠進食和晒太陽的趣怪樣子, 很開心, 不過牠已不能像其他同類般, 在外邊自由自在地生活了, 在水池內還見到一隻 Common Kingfisher

Yep, there are a lot of free, common birds there -- but common kingfisher? You are very lucky my friend. 
Personally, I prefer Kowloon Park more.

高興 見到越來越新人睇雀鳥。對新人來說，九龍公園、香港公園實在是個很好的觀鳥 好去處，除此之外，其實觀鳥還有很多不同的選擇，如大型的市填公園，如元朗市 鎮公園、九龍仔公園等，都是一個認識本地常見鳥的好去處。如到一些雀鳥遷徙的 季節，見到一些過境遷徙鳥都不足為奇。
