A single Dusky Thrush was seen upon a stretch of football field in Kowloon City on 1/2/03. Could anybody tell me whether it is a good year for this species?

Dear Koel, 2002-03 winter is a really good year for Thrushes, as raised several times by Richard Lewthwaite. I have seen Dusky Thrush at least 3 times, all in different sites this year. HF Cheung

It may be a good year for thrushes, but I don't think it qualifies as a good year for Dusky Thrushes. Scattered single birds is probably about average. Geoff
