Mai Po first-trip 第一次到米埔

Had our first trip to Mai Po today (28 Sept 2006) with Neil Fifer.
Saw some great birds, Dark-sided, Brown and Red-throated Flycatcher, Dusky, Oriental Reed-Warbler and a very pale 'phyllosc' that I will have to check up on.
Also had the Education Centre Pheasant-tailed Jacana, four species of Kingfisher (though the saddest note was finding-out that we had left the hide fifteen minutes before a Spoon-billed Sandpiper was seen from the Deep Bay Hide by a visiting Finnish birdo!)
