Title: Meeting with Guangzhou Bird Watchers

Last Saturday (29 July 2006), I went to Guangzhou to meet some long-time bird watchers in the great cultural city of Guangzhou. Guangzhou have become so much modernized since I first visited it in 1975.

Here are some of the bird watchers. From the left,
1. Dong Jiangtin, secretary of Shenzhen BWS
2. Liao Xiaodong, the most senior bird watcher in Guangzhou, and the force behind the bird watching movement
3. Zumeng, Chairlady of Shenzhen BWS
4. A keen bird watcher from Guangzhou (sorry that I cannot memorize your name)
5. That is me
6. Another keen bird watcher from Guangzhou (sorry that I cannot memorize your name)
7. Prof. Wang Loshi, professor of Zhongshan University, and a keen bird watcher and leader.
8. Lei Jinyu, the person behind the China Bird Report, working with Liu Yang for the first two years, he nowl take over the coordination work in the coming years.
9. The photographer is Yu Haiyin (Lool), a reporter from Guangzhou, and also the co-leader with Liao Xiaodong in Guangzhou.
