Title: Re: Shotgun Cartridge Post by John Holmes on Jul 31st, 2006, 11:14am The technical term for these is "Shotgun Cartridge" I've seen a few used shotgun cartridges in Long Valley over the years. These plastic ones (some are made of cardboard) can last for a long time. You'll probably find that the base of the cartridge is quite rusty. Hunting wasn't banned in the New Territories until about 1980, and I think this may be from those days. It would very bold of someone to fire a shotgun in the area in 2006, and even bolder to leave the evidence behind ! I suggest that Catapaults and Mist Nets are what we should be looking out for....
