This exhibition, titled "Garden in the Sky" to reflect on Kadoorie Farm's setting and mission, will explore the superb natural beauty and important conservation programmes of Kadoorie Farm. The photographs, taken over a year, reveal Kadoorie Farm's setting, striking seasonal changes and on-site conservation programmes. The exhibition also reflects on the opportunities for advancing conservation and sustainable development in Hong Kong.

On Sunday 30th March 2003, there will be a slide presentation and talk by Edward Stokes and Dr Gary Ades (venue / times above). The presentation will be in English and Chinese. Admission is free, but seating is limited. If you wish to make a reservation, or make any other enquiry about the exhibition or presentation, please ring 2488 0166.

The exhibition and slide presentation are based on the book about Kadoorie Farm,
also titled "Garden in the Sky" - photographed and written by Edward Stokes.
The book is now in bookshops, including the Cultural Centre shop.

Edward Stokes is the author of various books on the natural landscape of Hong Kong.
In 1997 he established the Hongkong Conservation Photography Foundation - which uses photo-led publications to promote conservation awareness. Dr Gary Ades is the Senior Fauna Conservation Manager at Kadoorie Farm & Botanic Garden, and a
founding board member of the HKCP Foundation.
