Below are the details of the Target 100 and Annual Dinner:-

Target 100
Date: 26th March 2006, Sunday
Time: 7:00 am ¡V 5:00 pm
Gathering Place: Kowloon Park Entrance (next to Mosque & MTR Station)
Route: Kowloon Park, Tai Po Au, Lam Tsuen/Kam Tin, Tsim Bei Tsui - Fung Lok Wai, Long Valley
Coach Fee: Member $60 Non-member $80
As the schedule is very tight, we will not stop for lunch. Please bring your own packed lunch and enough water.

In the "Target 100" held in the previous years, nearly 100 bird species were seen.

Annual Dinner & Post-Competition Gathering

Venue: Hong Kong Sports Institute, 25 Yuen Wo Road, Shatin, N.T.
Members only - HK$100 per head

- Booth exhibition ¡V Display of Birding Gears (Binos. & Field Guide); sales of souvenirs and books; experience sharing w/ senior birder
6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
- Result Reporting of ¡§Records 206¡¨ & ¡§Target 100¡¨
- Souvenirs/Awards Presentations
7:00 pm - 9:00pm
- Dinner

After the dinner, transportation from Sports Institute to Shatin Railway Station and Kowloon Tong will be provided.

May I know the nature of the Target 100? Is it an introduction course to birdwatching, or merely a gathering of birdwatchers?

It is a birdwatching outing just like those on most Sundays, but this will be a full day event with a target.
