Title: Workshop on Digiscoping by Neil
Post by World Cup 2006 on Apr 16th, 2006, 7:27pm
Surely many of us have been impressed by Neil's professional grade digiscoping photos. Neil has kindly agreed to hold a workshop on digiscoping.  It is so great to have an expert leading the way.

I have made a request to the Society asking them to organise the workshop.  Here I would like to poll for initial interest from members.  Please leave a message here to indicate your interest.

Most likely the workshop will be in form of a lecture with demo of digiscoping equipment and techniques in a weekday evening, followed with a field trip to a convenient shooting spot like Kowloon Park in a Saturday afternoon or a Sunday morning.

Cheers
Fred

Thanks Fred so much for initiating this photography workshop by Neil for the members. ::)

Being as the EXCO member responsible for organizing the society's activities, I am glad to see members telling us what activities they want HKBWS to hold and even arranging activities together with other members proactively. ;D

Fred, can you forward your request to me directly (ff orrest@hk bws.org.hk) or give me a call at 94805233 to discuss the date and detail of the workshop.

I find that the earliest time to have the workshop is next Wednesday, i.e. 26/4/2006 but I need to check whether the venue at HK Scout Center is available after the holiday. ???

Cheers,

Forrest 8)

My thanks to Forrest for his prompt response and support to my proposal.

Having further coordinated with Neil, he is available on both April 26 (Wed evening lecture) and April 30 (Sun morning field trip).  We are now counting on Forrest to get hold of a venue and other adminstrative issues.  Of course I will willing to provide any help if required.

I look forward to having this exciting workshop.  :D

Hi, all interested member/non-members.

The workshop will not be on April 26 since there is no training room available.  We are thinking of deferring it to May and are checking out the availability of Neil and the venue.  Please pay attention to announcement by Mr. Forrest Fong when the arrangements can be confirmed.

Thanks for showing support to this workshop.

Cheers
