Dear fellow birders/naturalists:

It gives me pleasure to inform you a bilingual (Chinese and English) website on "China Bird Watching Network" is developed. It provides information about this emerging community of bird watchers. URL of the website is: http://www.chinabirdnet.org

The website also provides easy access to bird conservation material including the Important Bird Areas in Asia, Saving Asia's Threatened Birds, as well as reference on pratical birding.

It is hoped that the website would facilitate the sharing of experience, birding information, education material and conservation news within the community.

I shall be grateful for your views and comments

Carrie,

I like the new website but have one comment as to the screen size. On the home page, the screen size seems relatively small but on clicking the "news" button, that page is full screen.

Many thanks for your comment. I don't have the skills to restrict the size of the bulletin board. If members of the Society could offer me some help or technical advice, it would be helpful :)
