Hong Kong Bird Watching Day

Organised by: The Hong Kong Bird Watching Society
In response to the World Bird Festival 2006 organised by BirdLife International
8 October 2006(Sunday)

Agriculture, Fisheries & Conservation Department
Hong Kong Wetland Park
Leisure and Cultural Services Department

In response to the World Bird Festival 2006 organised by BirdLife International and to promote the fun and advantage in bird watching, Hong Kong Bird Watching Society is organising the first “Hong Kong Bird Watching Day” on 8 Oct 2006.
We would like to recruit volunteers to assist in this event in two ways. One is stationing in a selected point with a telescope and show the general public the bird and the related information. The other is to provide a one-hour guided tour to the registered general public.
Please join hands in this meaningful event and show the road of bird watching and bird loving to the people of Hong Kong.

1. Tsim Bei Tsui     station & guided tour
2. Mai Po     station & guided tour
3. Tai Po Kau     guided tour
4. Nam Sun Wai     station
5. Long Valley     guided tour
6. Hong Kong Wetland Park     station & guided tour
7. Hong Kong Park     station & guided tour
8. Kowloon Park     station & guided tour
9. Tuen Mun Central Park     station & guided tour
