Captured early this morning was this BFS in its breeding plumage ...

EOS-1D Mk II, EF600/4L + EF1.4x
Evaluative +1/3, ISO 800, 1/800s, f/6.3

Your a brave man KK, the temperature must have been only 7 or 8 degrees.

But it was worth it - a nice shot

Too bad, was hoping for sunny blue sky this morning ... :(
With wind chill factor it felt more like 5 degree C or less! It was a lousy morning in terms of light ... very windy, no sun and heavily clouded. I left at 9:30am ...
