Swallows and swifts are Nature's mosquito killers. Gobbling up hundreds of insects at a time, they are good allies in our campaigns against diseases such as Japanese Encephalitis and Dengue Fever. Unfortunately, the number of nesting sites is reducing because the design and materials of modern urban buildings are not suitable for nest building.
