忍不住,在工作日也過去看看... 慶幸老板娘催促我:『快點影罷.』 心中以為她嫌棄我阻著她們幹活. 她對我細聲說: 『你這樣看著鳥巢,怕頑皮的小孩也發現巢位,會貪玩,破壞鳥巢.』 聽罷,心感汗顏,但亦替這一家七口子放心了. 有這樣的保護者,難怪在市區,他們的巢已存在了三年. ∼∼∼ 完 ∼∼∼ 前天經過,遙遙一看,已有數隻離巢了,但母燕還有回巢餵飼之行為. 他們成長真快.而老板娘正在打掃『巢下之物』 我沒有再怎樣跟進了,這次是不想搔擾 『老板娘.』 因為,這已變成 『人鳥之間』 的事了. 而且,還要去碰 『颳風奇緣.』 (很花時間)

謝謝!祖葉施主的報導呀! 很開心!小燕子虛驚一場後還可以活下來! 燕子的生命力真的很頑強!很佩服! 救了還是救不了其實都是小燕子的命運, 難得小燕子獲得施主的拯救, 是牠的福氣,牠的造化, 也是你和牠的緣份, 何必執著於是人為還是天然呢? 如果小燕子沒有這個福份, 也許你未必可以救到牠啊! 隨緣吧!

Very glad that the story has a happy ending ! Most likely that this little guy just fell off the nest accidentally rather than being pushed out by the parents (because of congenital problems) or his siblings (because of competition). Birds do not have a good sense of smell. It doesn't matter if you touch it or not. The important thing is try to put it back to the nest . The parents will feed it as long as it opens its mouth. (For those unlucky ones that can't be put back to the nest will starve to death unless human can foster them !) But sometimes, the parents will only feed the strongest ones when there is shortage of food, so the week ones will starve to death too ! P.S. Joe, I am not the two kindly men, but I do work in the SPCA and I like your " touching story" very much !
