Two Chinese Crested Terns were seen during a survery to Minjiang Estuary on 14th and 15th of August 2004, reported by Mr. Yu Xi and Mr. Liu Bofeng from Fujian Forestry Department, China. Minjing Estuary, which is situated at Changle City of Fujian Province, is an very important staging and wintering site for many migratory waterbirds. Fujian Forestry Department is developing the Estuary as a protected area now with some assistance from WWF Hong Kong. This survey is partially sponsored by HSBC. Xianji Wen WWF Hong Kong
