It is interesting to see our old friends in other countries. The weather seemed fine and the sea was calm, and you have a firm base for your telescope!   Terns in Hong Kong are under threat from human disturbance. Thailand is the mainland but have long peninsula and many island. We have many Tern spp. almost are visitor. Black-naped Tern is the one that resident in Thailand. It's likes to staying in island more than mainland.   Besides, Black-naped Tern I saw one adult breeding Roseate Tern that mix in Black-naped Tern flock also.  Anyone have the photo of  Roseate Tern in breeding  Plu?         Yes sir! They had some success in 2003 but there was none last year.
