大鵬灣燕鷗生態考察 17/7 Tern Watching at Mirs Bay

夏天的週日早上，馬料水碼頭照例人山人海，我們也在這裡出發。
We began from Ma Liu Shui Public Pier, which was packed with tourists.
紅耳鵯俱樂部的義工鳥友在此設立了燕鷗展覽，向遊人介紹保育燕鷗的信息。
Volunteers from our Crested Bulbul Club has set up a road show there to promote tern conservation.
活動共有八十多人參加，包括中學和港大師生、多位鳥友和以個人名義參加的市民。天晴加上風平浪靜，大家可以免受暈船之苦，美中不足的是有煙霞。
Over 80 persons from secondary schools, HKU, fellow birdwatchers and other individuals took part in the trip. The weather was fine and the sea was calm, so very few people became seasick. The only complaint was the haze.
在大鵬灣海面碰到三隻褐翅燕鷗，正在圍著一塊發泡膠玩「音樂椅」。

此行最精采之處，是可以近距離見到十多隻燕鷗趕在漁船的拖網之後捕食，欣賞牠 們優美的飛行姿態，如果各位拍到照片，歡迎在此貼出分享。
The high point of the trip is seeing at close range a group of terns fishing behind a trawl net. You are welcome to share your photos here.
定期調查區域內內共錄得210隻褐翅燕鷗，沒有黑枕和粉紅燕鷗，但在調查區域以 北的一個小島處則有35隻黑枕燕鷗，其中最少有3隻是幼鳥。
Record: 210 Bridleds within the regular survey area but no Black-napeds or Roseates. 35 Black-napeds, at least 3 of which are juveniles, were found at a small island to the north of the regular survey area.
