11/6/2006 Breeding Tern Survey 燕鷗繁殖調查

燕鷗調查 (只限香港觀鳥會會員參加)
六月十一日 (日) 09:00 - 17:00 香港東南水域燕鷗繁殖調查
集合： 西貢公眾碼頭集合，香港仔散隊。
費用： 船費將由參加者集資支付，每人約需五十元。
報名： 只接受預先報名並已得到確認的參加者，請將姓名及聯絡電話電郵至 (terng roup@hkb ws.org.hk)。
注意： 沿途不會靠岸，參加者請自備足夠糧水。由於路程頗長，而且所經之處都是開闊海域，風浪較大，部份人士可能會感到不適。
Tern Survey (HKBWS Members only)
11 June (Sun) 09:00 - 17:00 Breeding Tern Survey at South-eastern Waters
Assembly: Sai Kung Public Pier; Finish at Aberdeen.
Fees: The rent for the boat will be shared among the participants, at about $50 each.
Application: No walk-in will be allowed. Please email your name, contact phone no. to (ter ngroup@hkb ws.org.hk).
Note: We will not land enroute, so please bring your lunch and enough drinking water. This will be a long trip on open waters. The ride could be quite rough and some people may be seasick.

今天共有22人參加了本港東南部水域的燕鷗調查。
風浪不算大，到下午調查大致完成之後才開始下雨，可算幸運。
A total of 22 took part in today's survey to southeastern waters.
We were quite fortunate to have a tolerable ride, and the rain didn't come until we have practically finished.
錄得燕鷗數目如下：
Results:
黑枕 Black-naped 174
褐翅 Bridled 67
粉紅 Roseate 10
先貼一些記錄照，更精彩的就要看各位參加者了。
Some record photos – I'm sure much better ones will follow.
褐翅燕鷗喜歡石隙
Bridleds prefer crevices
黑枕則不介意露宿
Black-napeds don't mind staying in the open
一鏡三種鷗
One shot with three species
其他燕形物體－白腰雨燕
Other swallow-like birds – Pacific Swifts 50+
白腹海鵰曾出現八次
White-bellied Sea Eagle – seen 8 times

查看多次，發現相中紅圈的粉紅燕鷗左右腳都有旗誌。
Alan, 睇睇對調查有無幫助。
其實 Tern Group 同 Sze 相片都影到此燕鷗。

“The white flagged Roseate Tern was banded at Swain Reefs, at the south end of the Barrier Reef, off Gladstone, in Queensland in January of one of the last 5 years. There it was part of a large non-breeding population of which about 65% is Northern Hemisphere birds from southern Japan (Okinawa)/Taiwan (offshore islands), and probably islands off the mainland Chinese coast.”

「帶白色足旗的粉紅燕鷗是在大堡礁南部的斯溫群礁環誌的，當地位於昆士蘭省格 拉德斯通市以東的海域，日期是過去五年中的一月。當地有一個非繁殖粉紅燕鷗群 落，約65%來自北半球的日本沖繩／台灣外島，還可能包括中國大陸沿岸的一些島 嶼。」
Shortest distance between Hong Kong and Gladstone: 6,500 km
由格拉德斯通市到香港的最短距離為 6,500 公里
