21/7/06 Breeding Tern Survey 燕鷗繁殖調查

燕鷗調查 (只限香港觀鳥會會員參加)
七月廿一日 (星期五) 09:00 - 17:00 香港東南水域燕鷗繁殖調查
集合： 西貢公眾碼頭集合，香港仔散隊。
費用： 船費將由參加者集資支付，每人約需五十元。（紅耳鵯俱樂部會員義務在塔門向遊人介紹燕鷗，費用全免）
報名： 只接受預先報名並已得到確認的參加者，請將姓名及聯絡電話電郵至 *(terng roup@hkb ws.org.hk)。
注意： 沿途不會靠岸，參加者請自備足夠糧水。由於路程頗長，而且所經之處都是開闊海域，風浪較大，部份人士可能會感到不適。

Tern Survey (HKBWS Members only)
21 July (Fri) 09:00 - 17:00 Breeding Tern Survey at South-eastern Waters
Assembly: Sai Kung Public Pier; Finish at Aberdeen.
Fees: The rent for the boat will be shared among the participants, at about $50 each. (free of charge for Crested Bulbul Club members, who have volunteered to help with the exhibition on terns at Tap Mun.)
Application: No walk-in will be allowed. Please email your name, contact phone no. to *(ter ngroup@hkb ws.org.hk).
Note: We will not land enroute, so please bring your lunch and enough drinking water. This will be a long trip on open waters. The ride could be quite rough and some people may be seasick.

今天風和日麗，海面平靜，共有29人參加了燕鷗調查。沿途鳥況甚佳，三種燕鷗都 曾在數米內飛過，在充沛的陽光下顯得格外醒目，實在是近年少有。各人都大飽眼 福，盡興而歸。
29 members took part in today's tern survey. It's been a wonderful day with good sunshine, gentle breeze and a calm sea. We had excellent views of all three species of breeding terns, which approached us to within metres and showing up very well under the bright sun. This is the greatest show that we haven't seen for years. Everyone returned fully satisfied.
錄得的燕鷗數目如下：
Total counts:
黑枕 Black-naped：184 (其中約有10隻幼鳥 about 10 chicks)
粉紅 Roseate： 40 (最少有一隻幼鳥 at least 1 chick)
褐翅 Bridled： 53
粉紅燕鷗怕太陽
The Roseates prefer shades.
