White-winged Black Tern or Common Tern?

I may consider it as a whiskered tern. Let's see the comments from the more experienced birders.

This was a lovely pic.
I agree with what KWAN said!Since Common Tern seens to have a longer and deeper folk tail. Besides, Common Tern mostly found in Hongkong, its bill and legs are black in color.

And I think that it was possibly a juenvile bird as you can find some dot on its back or even on its wings .Dots are rare and more separate in Whiskered Tern rather than White-winged Black Tern. Therefore, Whiskered Tern will be the answer!

That's only my option!! If there is any things wrong, pls let us know!!! ::)

I agree, it looks like a juvenile Whiskered Tern.  This is based on a combination of the lack of dark leading edge to the wing, poorly defined cap (especially above the eye), short black patch on ear coverts, and rather pale mantle.  Both Common and White-winged terns show an obvious dark leading edge, and White-winged shows a very dark mantle.  I disagree however, about the tail fork depth (as it can be quite shallow on juvenile Common Tern, and is difficult to see in the photos), and would like to point out that bare part colouration (bill and legs) fits juvenile Common Tern, especially of the race tibetanus.
