Member LSM saw 9 Black-naped feeding at Cheung Chau yesterday. They then left in the direction of Lamma.

I guess it's well known but about 40 Bn Terns have been on the rocks near Pak Kok, Lamma for a couple of weeks. During that time, one Roseate and about three Whiskered have been seen amongst them.

The Black-naped Terns have abandoned Mirs Bay this year and moved to breed at eastern waters. The chicks have now fledged and are gathering at fish farms near Sai Kung. Local people reported seeing them chasing boats in Inner Port Shelter in the past few days. It is expected that they will be leaving soon.
