Birdwatching report on the Silk Road:
Eleven members of theCrested Bulbul Club had organized a10 days sight-seeing tour to the Silk Road, with 5 friends of Miss Ah Mon, four couples from Tuen Mun, and 3 Japanese friends (one is the member of HKBWS), totally 27 people were enjoyed the trip very well because we have at least 7 new species in birdwatching.

when I walked out in the morning, I saw 2 hill myna (¼d³¾) ­ôin the cage, more than 10 tree sparrows¾ð³Â³¶in the tree and on the street. In the Huaqing Palace, µØ²M®c, there were red-rumped Swallow , ª÷¸y¿P & barn swallow. ®a¿P

after crossing the Yellow River, on the way to Hexi
Corridor, Qilian Shan¶i¤Jªe¦è¨«´YªÂ³s¤s¯ßwe saw black-billed magpie. ³ßÄN
In WuweiªZ«Â¥«, Leitai Han Tombs¹p¥xº~¹Ó¡M my Japanese friends, Mr. Yamaguchi Yoshikuni ¤s¤fªÚ¨¹¥ý¥Í
Mr. Hoshi Susumu ¬P¶i¥ý¥Í& Mr. Sakuma Hiro Humi
¦õ¤[¶¡³Õ¤å¥ý¥Í, theyfound a Eurasian Hobby¿PÔGon a tree¡X(½b·¨¾ð)¡Mwhen we arrived, we found 3 juveniles on the tree and 1 adult flying in the sky, later they found a Little OwlÁa¯¾¸¡¤pì¦ standing on another tree.
On the way to Zhangye±i±³¥«, when we going to toilet, we found 2¡Ñ Desert Wheatearºz(§Y³¾) and 2¡Ñ Black Redstart»u¬õ§Àì©.

In the Giant Buddha Temple, Zhangye, ±i±³¤j¦ò¦x, we saw: Common Kestrel, ´åÔG Great spotted Woodpecker¤j´³°Ö¤ì³¾ Eurasian Collared Dove¦Ç´³¹§
Rufous-tailed Shrike--juvenile´Ä§À§B³Ò-¥®³¾
In thewine spring garden, Jiuquan, °s¬u¤½¶é¡Mwe saw many tree Sparrows . ¾ð³Â³¶ .
When we going into Jiayuquan¹Å®nÃö, we saw a Rufous-tailed Shrike walking outside the wall. (BorderÃö¥~)
