The hungry bulbuls
In the morning of January 18th Tai Po Kau nature reserve was as quiet as a calm sea. I could hear my heart beat sounded lub-dub lub-dub during exchange of breaths. All of a sudden excessive tree leaves rubbing sound brown out in front of me. My pair of tuned-in ears told me that this would be birds feathers scrubbed at the tree leaves. Without any hesitation I held up my nikon and pressed the shutter.
A pair of chestnut bulbuls were having their breakfast on an anti-febrile dichroa shrub. The left bulbul gulped the fruit down her throat while the right bulbul gobbled the fruit in her mouth. The chestnut bulbuls, wearing crested brown hats, are inhabitants in the reserve.
