The spotted dove carved herself on a branch of a crumbling tree erected on the slope next to the lookout tower of the police post at Tsim Bei Tsui. The plumage blends exceptionally with the brownish bark albeit the scaly spotted neck. The upperpart reflected irregular pattern of the shape of the decaying branches radiated outward to the sky. The world stood still at that split second in the afternoon of January 5th.
