I was quite confused as to the ID of this bird.  Is it a Pied Harrier or Eastern Marsh Harrier?  Thank you.

Seems more like Pied Harrier cos the head of Eastern Marsh Harrier is comparatively white.

Thank you Kenneth.  But is it possible that it is an Eastern Marsh Harrier in transiton from juvenile to a full fledged aldult, say a two-year aldult?

This is probably the same bird identified by John Holmes: http://www.hkbws.org.hk/BBS/view ... &extra=page%3D1

As SY says, this this same bird as in the earlier thread, and the same bird photographed by Thomas CHAN here:

Thank you SY and John for the help.
