Japanese Grosbeak at Airfield Road

On Sunday Ruy Barretto found a Japanese Grosbeak with three Chinese Grosbeaks feeding above the drainage ditch on Airfield Road.

The pictures were taken with a Lumix ZX zoom camera.

A visit to Airfield Road last weekend (19 Feb) didn't give good birds -

Pale Thrush x2
Grey-backed Thrushes
Red-flanked Bluetail
Blyth's Leaf Warbler
Blue-winged Minla x6
Black Bulbul x2 at Kam Tsin Wai

The flock of Blue-winged Minla is an interesting find, i found them in many places that are not well-forested this winter. Surprising to find them on Airfield Road though.
