Question~

Very nice capture Owen!

I have an impression that there is a black flag on top of the white K9 flag, can you tell which leg the flags are on?

Chongming Dongtan, Shanghai, has been adding engraved flags (# flag) on Whimbrel for a year and it may be possible that this bird was banded in chongming if there is a black flag on top.

Very nice reocrd Owen, I just checked with the reserve officer and find the following information for K9. It was banded on the 3-May-2006... so what's happening to it this year? Still stuck in HK in May... Interesting~
