Below is a (probably incomplete) list of birds found by a group of about 10 birders on Po Toi and from a boat in southern waters today (5 April).

Chinese Bulbul √
Crested Bulbul √
Sooty-headed Bulbul 1
Red-tailed Robin 1
Daurian Redstart 2 (m, f)
Red-flanked Bluetail 1
Grey-backed Thrush 1 (+ several thrush sp)
Masked Laughingthrush √

Pallas's Leaf Warbler 2

Also, at least 5 Finless Porpoises seen.

All in all a very enjoyable trip!

Boat trip to Po Toi & southern waters, 27 April 2008

An initially disappointing trip turned into a big collective high for everyone on the boat with stunning views of a Great Frigatebird.
