Woke up this morning and got the news of a possible Radde's Warbler on 9th from Tim Woodward, went straight down this morning and searched for the bird. The first 40min we only got a Dusky Warbler, we waited for a little longer and the Radde's came out from the long grass. Shorter tail and olive greenish back with a much softer call. Great way to start a day!! Thanks Tim for his tip off!!

Radde's Warbler x1 (Wonderland Villas tick)
Yellow-browed Warbler
Dusky Warbler x1
Black-throated Laughingthrush x7
Long-tailed Shrike x1

A good morning walk, though the target bird was a Small Niltava spotted by Tim Woodward and his wife yesterday which we didn't see after an hour's of search. But we got some other good birds to make up for it!!

Mugimaki FLycatcher x1 male (showed very briefly after 3 years of absent!!)

Radde's Warbler x1 Our second one of Wonderland Villas and second one this season!!
Black-throated Laughingthrush
Yellow-browed Warbler
Thrush species x2 (In very very dense vegetation, but most likely a Japanese)

Hopefully more thrushes will come through soon!!
