Learnt from an article "Re: 【郊遊記錄 -鳥兒】03" dd 10/10/02 14:06 in newsgroup news.hkpcug.org/hkpcug.digital-photography that there are some beautiful bird photos. Anyway, I would like to practice bird identification. Can anyone help me? Link URL : http://www.pbase.com/jopat/galleries Target URL : http://www.pbase.com/jopat/birds From left to right and from top to bottom:- (p.1) Blackbird male Blackbird male "fat pigeon" "fat pigeon" Blackbird female Blackbird female Slaty-Backed Gull (seems to be the same as below) Slaty-Backed Gull (black legs ) Slaty-Backed Gull ( ??) Please tell me if I am wrong in these ID: On the first page the fat pigeons are New Zealand Pigeons. The Gulls are Dominican Gulls. The little birds with a red face are Goldfinches. On the second page the bird with a neat grey face is a Dunnock. The White-eye-like birds are Silvereyes. The Spotted ones are European Starlings. And how I admire these beautiful photos!!
