Any person who wilfully disturbs, takes, removes or injures wild birds or their nests and eggs commits an offence and is liable to a maximum fine of HK$100,000 and imprisonment for 1 year.   Please report to Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department if you find anyone attempting to harm the swallows.   When you see students throwing things at the nests,  please stop them immediately.
