Congratulations to those who saw the Drongo Cuckoo. I did not see this bird and wish I could have done.
Please could people who find rare birds please report thei sightings as soon as possible so that others can share the pleasure of such wonderful sightings.
You can do several things to share your news effectively
a) HKBWS website posting - although yougenerallyhave to go home to do this it has a delay
b)call your friends - ask the people to call to passon the message to others so the news speads out
c) the most effective way is to call BOTH Chinese AND English Birdline
Chinese Birdline: 2465 6690
English Birdline: 2667 4537
It is important to call both birdlines because some members only speak one language, and it is possible that one or other Birdline cannot be updated immediately. We have these services to help our memebers enjoy birdwatching - help HKBWS to provide a good service
