2005年4月25日和Etta到昂船洲附近觀鳶時，
突然看見一黑色大鳥在遠處跳0下跳0下，
走近一點看，發現原來是「灰背心黨」既家鴉！
用望遠鏡一望，發現牠咬著草條快速地飛向一燈柱上！
我們又用望遠鏡一望，發現燈柱上有一巢形物體，
而且上面有各式材料，包括膠衣架！
可惜拍不到牠們入巢的相片！
跟著我們離開該地，但沿路上我們仍然看見不少家鴉，
而且有幾對都像已經pair up，一齊在築愛巢似的！
而且牠們都總愛選址在燈柱上！
彷彿燈柱就是牠們的理想家園！
在家鴉活動的範圍內還有1對白頸鴉！
不知牠們遲些會否給家鴉群「迫遷」？
然後我們乘小巴回荔枝角午飯，小巴站附近簡直係家鴉的天下！
而午飯後我們轉到西九龍區內某批發市場內觀鳶時，
又發現大量家鴉的蹤影！
而且牠們「選樓」既要求跟昂船洲的家鴉群一樣 ─ 燈柱！
而且建屋材料也是五花八門！可以用的都用上了！
包括用來包著富士大蘋果的發泡膠網狀軟墊！
無巢的燈柱（比較圖）
由於我們觀察的時間較短，而且未見牠們坐在巢裡！
所以只視這些為「懷疑家鴉巢」地點！
有待日後再觀察確定！

我家住深水埔近太子, 家對面就是主教山及大坑東球場, 每逢兼昏 (5-6點), 都見很多鴉 (我相信是家鴉吧), 由我的東面飛向我的西面, 即由大坑東那邊飛向深水埔, 為什麼呢  每次都有好多隻, 雖然沒有準確地數過, 可是一定有20以上

那些應是家鴉。小弟放學時常經過大坑東球場，那裏每天都有至少5隻家鴉在草地 吃蟲。
此外，小弟以前在九龍塘讀中學，那裏每天都有5-6隻家鴉。

在大嶼山和東隧九龍出口都見過有喜鵲在類似的燈柱上築巢。

我還要多加苦練, 希望有朝練成「天眼通」啦! 咁就好啦!
不過真的擔心這兩地會變成家鴉的豪宅!
隨時會有「鴉臨天下」,「鴉悅居」同「鴉景臺」等樓盤出現!

House Crows (Corvus splendens) - Notes on their Population and Control in Hong Kong
In 2004, a study commissioned by AFCD found around 250 House Crows in Hong Kong, mainly in the Kowloon peninsula in particular Sham Shui Po and Kowloon Tsai Parks (Anon, 2004). The Cheung Sha Wan Wholesale Food Market seemed to have become a major foraging ground for the crows in the Sham Shui Po area.
漁護署在 2004 年委托顧問做了一個調查，發現本港約有250 隻家鴉，主要集中在九龍半島，尤其是深水 [土步] 及九龍仔公園一帶。在深水 [土步] 一帶活動的家鴉似乎以長沙灣副食品批發市場作為主要覓食地點。

Over a hundred House Crows are staying around Hoi Lai Estate, near Cheung Sha Wan Wholesale Food Market at Sham Shui Po. Residents were worried about catching bird flu. AFCD said the House Crow population in Hong Kong was about 250. They were planning to poison the birds.

有幾次在下午5時45分左右都集結在麗閣村對面之木麻黃等樹上休息,為數有近百隻 ,不知道有沒有人知道牠們在港的數目現有多少呢?又,我在附近的樹上鮮有見到大 型的鳥巢,不知道牠們在香港的繁殖情況是怎麼樣呢?而且我在區內的正午時份很少 見到牠們集體出現,會不會牠們在這段時間去了其他地區覓食呢? |

A recent report on radio or TV says that House Crows in HK has dropped to about 150. The decrease in number is due to the recent adoption of poisoning/drug strategy against these birds. I think the source is fropm WH Lee of AFCD.
