A satiated snipe
						
						
																											A common snipe was foraging in a lily pond at Long Valley on March 28th.  At last minute it stabbed its beak into the water repeatedly to catch crustaceans.  At this minute it posted itself as a monk with drops of water streaming down its elongated bill.  Its gizzard was filled.
