Dear Chak Wing,
It seems to be the first time I saw a shot from you which was taken at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. As always, an awesome shot. I can't figure it out where you anchored your setup on the campus to have the picture taken from this beautiful angle. Would you mind telling me?
How do you feel about the performance of the Lumix as a digiscoping camera? You probably shot with a conventional non-electrical self release cable. How do you connect the cable onto the camera? Does the device really help to reduce vibration to a safe level suitable for digiscoping purposes?
Regards,
Pete

Thanks Peter,

Your Dusky thrush makes me to visit again.
The photo below tells the information that you needed.

In general, the Lumix-5 is a very good dc for digiscopic. However, the tele-end is not quite sharp. As a general rule, I don't think we can get a sharp image without the use of a cable release (eithe electric one or mechanical one)in digiscoping. In my case, the cable release adapter was bought from US, an indispensable device, and it looks very nice too.

I think it is tailor-made for the LX5 and so, it is not applicable on other compact digital cameras. Can you tell me the internet link to the agent selling the cable release supporter?  Pete
