A wet walk a long Lydford Gorge & a nice sunny afternoon out on Dartmoor. Not exactly a birding trip but still a few good species.

Dipper x2 at Lydford Gorge (unfortunately no photos as it was really wet)

Nice to see Spotted Flycatchers with young, Matthew.

Their numbers have declined dramatically in UK.

indeed Geoff, I have noticed that as well!! We usually have 1 or 2 pairs breeding in our school, but so far I have seen none!! Sad really, as they are one of my favorite summer visitors in the UK, always delightful to watch.
