Rufous-gorgeted Flycatcher

Rufous-gorgeted Flycatcher

Another one on Po Toi today (Thursday), the third of this autumn/winter.
This one is perhaps the least attractive of the three, but at least I saw it (I missed the other two).

A first-winter female I think, and either moulted or lost some tail feathers, now regrowing.

Is it strange for flycatcher to moult at this period of time, on their way of migratory journey?
If the tail is damaged, it contradicts to our general believe that obvious tail damage only happen in cage bird.
Presuming it's not a captive one, it is new knowledge to me that tail damage to such extent could be happened in natural condition.
